Seconded ... but I'm playing a lot of Paul Kelly at the moment too
Actually I also have a soft spot for The Grates.
Also saw 'Jackie Marshall' on Rockwiz the other week and wouldn't mind catching her live.
And Ray Thistlethwayte from Thirsty Merc.
Nice Cave is OK too, but sells out quick.
So much music, so little spare time ...

His album, with The Coloured Girls, 'Under The Sun' is fabulous in my opinion.
Went to see him in Cairns in 1989, think he was with 'The Messengers' then and he was bloody brilliant.
and you can't beat a bit of Barnesy and Cold Chisel if you fancy a bit of a shouty number.

Will definitely get to see him soon (he's doing the Tivoli in a couple of weeks but can't make it), the latest album 'Stolen Apples' is a cracker

Not seen Jimmy or Paul Kelly live yet but I've got 'Darlin' it Hurts' on repeat play at the moment. I do like some unabashed shouty pub-rock

Love 'singing'/shouting in the car, particularly good as a, 'the kids are driving me bloody mad' de-stresser.
Thank god for tinted windows tho, find it minimizes the incredulous staring.

Has to be Amy Pearson at the minute, that 'Don't Miss You' song is pretty catchy, saying that, I believe she's actually originally from Birmingham. Oh well, she's my favourite British expat singer at the mo....

also enjoying Silverchair's new album 'Young Modern' at the moment, despite overkill on the radio of the 'straight lines' track.
Another good album to screech along to in the car.
Anybody else repeat a track 4 or 5 times because they're enjoying 'singing' it so much......or is that just me? Often wonder if the same people I pull alongside every set of trafic lights think I own just the one, single track cd......
