I'm sure 60 Minutes would pay around $200,000 for that story, but you would have to give some of that money to the laundry of course.

That happened to me when I was 14. I was totally beside myself and my Mum was mortified having to phone the hotel laundry to ask and tell them how old I was! Luckily he was there.....and had been cuddled lots as he smelt of perfume! Naughty teddy................

Great news, I think your story touched many of us as we remember our children's favourite teddies, we got a replica of my son's favourite as we had come very close to losing it on several occasions!

Just spoke to the laundry be email.

The teddy had been found some time ago but had been sitting on the shelf. Luckily we called by with a poster and our contact details and the supervisor remembered our visit!

Have updated Pink ted's page on the ABC website - http://blogs.abc.net.au/wa/2009/08/lost-pink-ted.html

Hoping our host school in Perth will collect and return.

We updated the ABC Perth Pink Ted page and they now want a follow up.

Hopefully they might be able to help with the repatriation process!

Northernbird,

Had completely missed your thread.

Will most certainly get back to you if my host school are unable to help - or indeed the ABC!

Many, many thanks for your offer.

Folks,

Just in case you are interested - he arrived back safely a couple of weeks ago - if a bit stretched after his tumble dry exploits.
