Default Fabric and haberdashery supplies

Can anyone recommend any good sites (or shops in Sydney) for buying fabric and haberdashery supplies? The ones I've found either seem to have a poor selection or are really expensive.

Thanks!

There is a HUGE Spotlight at Lidcombe - the OH always goes there for her costumery needs. There's a smaller one at Birkenhead Point, but it's not well stocked and the staff are slow.

There is also a Lincraft superstore in the Homeware Super Centre in Alexandria. That's pretty good too, plus there is a similar one in the City somewhere, which should be easily accessible by train.

I can't wait until we pick up the car, then a trip out to Lidcombe is actually easy to do, rather than an hour on public transport with a two-year-old in tow. I'll have to look forwards to that (easily pleased, me?!). Their website is awful, so it's definitely one to visit in person.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Buzzy - going up!
