That's why homosexuals I know are open about their sexual orientation, and often joke about it openly. They prefer to take part in the rough and tumble humour of everyday life and be engagé whereas you seem to advocate some kind of societal segregation where it's somehow wrong to have a laugh about aspects of homosexuality - eg the stereotype uniform aspect.
