I phoned POPC about the rumor of contributory parent visas already been allocated this year and I was told that they still have places. However they did say that there is a deley as they are waiting for Canberra to say that they can issue more visas.

Can anyone give me an indication as to how long this delay will be? & do they often have to wait for instructions from Canberra?

As the end of the tax year is approching am I right to assume that they are reaching the target of places allocated for the year? If so will they be slowing things down? My mum is at the bond stages now we have provided all necessary documents/paperwork & have had meds & pcc's, being this far ahead in the application is it likely that she will sneak in this year or not. Honestley what are her chances???
