2.31 with Ozforex, do we go for it or wait

Unless you're like me i.e. you will come on BE and see an exchange rate thread and be unable to resist a peek, at which point you will see it's miraculously shot up to 2.5

If oil is going up then everyone will be in the same boat...

Just need a 2.50 for me and I'll be exstatic!.... 2.34, is way too little for me to bear... 2.45 seems fair enough, for us anyhow! I got 2.53 one day in August when we were over there! So anything is possible..
I'm just glad that we've got a good few months before we go. I'm hoping that it will all settle down.

thats the mid-market rate - remember you will get about 1 to 2 cents less depending on how much you are transferring

Remember as a British Expats member you should get a better rate with Ozforex or Tranzfers - mention your membership when dealing with them. 1% should be the maximum margin against interbank you have to pay and you should be able to negotiate better if you have a reasonable sum (say proceeds from a UK house sale) to transfer.
