UK Inflation figures released tommorrow, if they are +2% then it will put upward pressure on interest rates here in the UK, so obviously make sterling more attractive to the currency investors!:)

There are two types of people who make predictions regarding the UK economy!

1. Those who do not know?
2. Those who do not know that they do not know?

I am 1.;)

Re: EXCHANGE RATE

From OZFOREX if of any interest?

The Aussie dollar is expected to remain under selling pressure this week given the renewed risk aversion that has impacted upon investor sentiment and equity markets as a result of the continuing fallout from the sub-prime mortgage sector crisis. On the data calendar this week the US retail sales figures are likely to have a direct impact on the Aussie. On the domestic front, Monday’s RBA monetary policy statement will be closely watched for its outlook for interest rates and inflation.
