Excess Charges ?? How Much ??

Excess Charges ?? How Much ??
Hi All
We will be flying with Cathay Pacific when we leave and I have got too much weight in my cases (I am infact 9 lbs over).
Does anyone know how much BA will charge for this excess. I emailed Cathay Pacific to ask if they allow extra luggage as I will be (hopefully) leaving on an unvalidated visa with a one way ticket but they said that they do not do this. SHOCK HORROR!!!
Cheers for any help on this guys!
By the way - I will be booking through Airline-Network.co.uk incase this makes a pickle of difference???
