Default Excess Baggage

I am not able to cramp all my belongings into 20 kg luggage allowance. :curse:

Was thinking of shipping 3 boxes or suitcases as unaccompanied baggae. Alternatively I had a look at a couple of companies that offer door to door service. Can anyone recommend any companies for excess baggage shipping?

Apparently some companies don't cover duty and handling fees. Any idea, how much these could be?

My daughter has just used PersonalPorter - they work in partnership with DHL and do door to door. She has just sent 32kg to Aus and it cost in the region of £170 - go to their website you can get an online quote. They also collected on the day and within the time frame that they said, so far so good. She arrives in Sydney today and the bag is due to be delivered on the 16th!

We have used the londonbaggage company or excess baggage (part of same company.

We got alot of tea chests delivered. Then when we flew out we got a couple of large heavy suitcases posted out. (we had too many for flight allowance)

The fee was not bad,the extra for customs was not expensive.
