Australia, I know has it's fair share of crime and idiots however if you lived in the Uk you would see how political correctness has gone mad!!!
You can't say this and you can't say that, you can't complain about your neighbours because they have PROBLEMS, oh well I say! TUFF! GET RID!
I am sick of making excuses for these worthless creatures that craw the earth and flippin 16 years olds who have just come out of borstal winning the lotto.
So if I want to find a utopia and I think it might be in Australia I am not apologising to anyone for that, seeing as my husband has been at work since 6 this morning and still isn't home.
England does suck and if you lived here you would understand why 75% of these people on Brit ex pats are moving. I would say most of us are in it to find a healthier lifestyle, less work hours than the UK and a slower pace of life.

Well I am in utopia, my partner and son both left for work an hour ago its 6.09 now, one wont be back home till 7pm and thats 6 days a week.
Redcliffe was in the paper on the weekend for 16 year olds, not winning lotto, but annoying the hell out of everyone with 300 kids pissed and partying (again). Roackingham LOL you wouldnt get bored teens there now would you
We have neighbours with 4 kids who collect over $50,000 a year in benefits, as the gov declared parents with kids over 6 should exert themselves into 15 hours a week work the 44 year old mother is now pregnant again on IVF on the taxpayer expense. The baby bonus is for the dad to buy a new boat. Living the lifestyle
Drugs, 50% of aussies like a little smoke or toke or worse.
Being healthy, nothing to do with a country its how you eat and how you use your body, a rainy day in UK no more stops you doing that than a 35 degree day in OZ if your really determined.
So would I say australia sucks No, its like the UK same old shi! and same old problems thats all.

Re: England sucks??
some very good comments and thanks for sharing your thoughts.......I suppose if you are not close to your family and your life seems to be in limbo land then what the heck it's worth giving it a go.......I personally feel people HAVE to be migrating "material"........certain people fit the mould.....I know I did 20 yrs ago ........what I mean by that is if you have no tight bond with family and friends then it is easier to leave and the homesickness will not be as strong.......I guess being a little selfish helps too.....but if you really have great relationships with your family and friends then I belive those people with find it hard to cut the mustard being away from those people........imo the biggest factor in the whole situation is not lifestyle, sun, beaches, money, chavs, rain, cold winters.......it's your relationships with people in your life that will decide if you are cut out to leave your homeland.........I did it 20 yrs ago but my relationships as I got older and my longing to spend more time with family have made me realize that the most important thing in life is not where I am but the people that are around me

Whilst pots of money is great to migrate to Australia with, the thing you need to take with you can't or won't fit in your suitcase.
The right attitude, a willingness to step down in a job and work your way up again, willingness to adapt to different methods both at home and work.
The ability to accept your new country for being different and embrace the differences or accept the ones you find hard.
To realise that yes, your family are on the other side of the world and yes, it costs a small fortune to visit them. Missing them is no crime, you are allowed to do it. However, missing your family should not be 'your first bridge' out of Australia.
Accept that homesickness can last a couple of years and you may need help to cope with it.
No amount of money can buy the above.
Where I live really sucks when we have someone shot or attacked, it sucks on a Friday night when Im too scared to go out.
But this morning when I took my dog out and the sun was shining, neighbours saying 'good morning', well I can live with it till I am allowed to live in the place I really want to.
And no doubt, it will have it's own set of gun toting criminals. Just with a different accent.
Bring it on.
