The near 60% support for the Liberals in this poll is interesting and is in complete contrast to national polls.
I think it's because many poms have seen the cock-up that a quasi-socialist, namby-pamby government has made in the UK and realise that a KRudd/Gillard government will do the same here.

Heaven help us.

I think that's true, also most of the Poms who come here tend to be entrepreneurial and have worked for a living rather than being dole bludgers so they would favour the liberals in any case.

The trouble with socialist governments is they say one thing and do another, relying more on spin and soundbites to gain and stay in power rather than facts and substance. Oh well, if Rudd gets in I suppose we must forgive the electorate for they know not what they do.

But will we forgive them for giving us a recession that we never needed to have?

I'd like to know where they conduct their polls. Obviously if it is conducted in a Labor prefered seat then it is sure to favour Krudd. I have never been asked to take part in any poll.

Thank goodness you haven't been asked then!! What Has JH done for this country exactly - and what are his policies for the future???? All he does is carry out a negative campaign. The Economic success is down to Australia's fortunate position of being resources rich. We need someone who is new - nothing wrong with Britain's economy - it's still the 4th or 5th Richest nation in the world.

So vote Howard and get Slimey sleezy grinning Costello??????

I love politics!! :O)

If carbon emissions are to be significantly reduced without affecting economic growth then we are going to need nukes. Nothing else can provide the big base loads that are required to run a modern economy without emissions. 5-6 nukes would do it. 1-2 in Qld, 1 in NSW, Vic. and SA and 1 in WA.
