Well it's pretty much common knowledge that it was the unions which deposed KRudd and put Gillard in the top job. So if they can do that then who is really running the country?

But what reserves did we use to avoid recession. I wonder how our debt per capita would look without that having been spent.

Latest Galaxy poll puts Labor at 38% and the Libs at 44% two party preferred vote.

Maybe the electorate actually does have some common sense.

The problem is that the Greens vote gives it to Labor.

The Galaxy poll, published in News Limited papers today, has the Liberal primary vote at 42 per cent, Labor is below that on 39 per cent and the Greens on 13 per cent.
It is the Greens preferences that give Labor its lead over the Coalition.

Generally yes although it could be an independant. You need to look at your local candidates and past results.

Er, no. 2 party prefered vote figures have to add up to 100, 44+38=82.

Cross out the '2 party preferred' part. The numbers were correct.

However what you stated was still untrue because you were listing the primary votes, not 2 party preferred as you said - 2 party preferred it was 50/50.

When people vote green I think they know full well where their preferences are going...I could safely vote green knowing they'll end up in the Labor pile.

**spent too long typing**

Todays figures are only 1% different, not opposite.
