I am in the first stages of emigrating to oz with my kiwi g/friend. i have a level 2 2330 city and guilds in electrical installation. Would i be able to get any kind of job in the trade with that, because all i can find is stuff on graded electricians????? any help woulkd be fantastic, i am however a qualified pat tester with about a years experience, will this help out there??????

Hi There,

Are you time served??...........In level 2 do you mean NVQ level 2??

If nvq level 2 then you won't be time served as you need level 3 to complete.

If you are time served with papers etc then there seems to be plenty of work......once you apply and attain the necessary oz licenses.

I also believe that if you are a pats tester you should be able to make good money as everything needs testing/tagging and I don't think there are too many people over in oz that do pats testing.
