East coast & budget flights
Hi,
We planning to go back to check out more of Aussie in Jan 2006 but want to try to book flights now. Does anyone have any insight to which airlines have good deals or will have good deals for late this year / early next? We flew with Air Malaysia for £530+tax a few weeks ago to Melbourne which was good value (and got stop overs etc).
We really like both Melbourne and Sydney but don't think Perth is quite big / busy enough for us although we had a great holiday there. We're young so enjoy some nightlife and a little bit of city combined with the Aussie relaxed way and the great weather. Which other cities should we visit in Australia given that we like Melbourne & Sydney?
Is it worth us holidaying further up the East cost to check it out or should we just choose between Sydney and Melbourne? I'm of the opinion that if it's clearly not going to be busy enough then we could save the cash and explore more of Sydney & Melbourne, and enjoy the rest of the East cost when we get out there permanently.
Would appreciate comments / opinions!
