Please don't tell me to wee on them though Renth.
BTW I have been wearing sandals, I couldn't face barefooting it around, so that's not the problem!

Try a foot file for your heels and use a good moisturiser afterwards. The Flexitol is supposed to be good, but I found it too slippery to use when my chiropodist used it on mine. BTW, sandals can make dry skin on heels drier. Often why women suffer with dry skin on the feet while men, who usually wear socks (in UK anyway) have softer skin...

Re: Dry Icky Feet
Larissa, I have always had a dry foot prob (think I was lucky to inherit it from my Mum). I have just discovered the Hemp Foot Protector from Body Shop!! Its AWESOME!!
I give my feet a soak in warm water with the Body Shop Milk Bath and then give them a scrub with the Lemongrass foot polish and then the Hemp foot protector....my feet are the best they have ever been at the moment.
Can definatly recommend it!

Re: Dry Icky Feet
i have eczema as well as very very dry skin on hands and feet & I use Flexitol heel balm on my feet, PawPaw Ointment (from Aus made of Papaya) on my hands & Arms - if my eczema is really bad I used "Emu oil" (yes you heard right) which i got from Carrara Market on the Gold Coast in Aus - a bit stinky but very effective.

Oooh, congrats Larrisa!!!!!!!!!!! (on the pregnancy, not the feet )
I use eucalytol or something like that, when I need it. Bought it from the pharmacy, I think it's the Palmers brand, and it's got eucalyptus oil in it.
It's especially for dry and cracked heels.

Heeeeeeeey Congratulations Larissa!! Hope your first trimester went well, not too harrowing.
I use the nutrimetics apricot oil ever since I got that. I use a pumice stone in the shower couple of times a week to slough off the dead skin and then slather them with the oil, cover with bed socks and go to sleep.
It works a treat! And as a bonus, by the time you wake up for that night-time wee.. it's soaked in. No skating rinks or minister of silly walks! LOL

Re: Dry Icky Feet
I get dry cracked heels sometimes too and the "Eulactol Heel Balm" works like magic. The only problem is that it's quite greasy. I only put it on at night before I go to sleep, with socks on too to keep the sheets clean. The next morning I can feel the immediate difference.
Oh, yes, congratulations, Larrisa!
All the best,
Mrs JTL
P.S. Just checked, Flexitol and Eulactol heel balm are the same thing - Eulactol in Australia, Flexitol in the UK/Canada/rest of the world.
