Default Driving offences on temp visa in Victoria

If you get caught for speeding in Victoria the following is what takes place:

- The police take a record and hand that record to Vic Roads.
- If you have done the offence under another license whether it be another state or foriegn ie NZ or UK a record is created by Vic Roads and held for 36 months (3 years).
- If you transfer over from this license to a Victorian license the information is transferred.

Some will have you think points are not allocated they are. So do not make the mistake of getting a license and then having it taken off before you even leave the building.
