Anyone know that one (Queensland)?

Maybe I keep my UK one till I get PR (if I do ?!?)

Cheers
As a student you will be classed as a temp resident.

Temp residents (in QLD) can drive on their UK (international) licence indefinitely........provided it is still in date of course.

If and when your residency status changes to permanent you will have 3 months from that date to pass a theory test which qualifies you for a full Aus licence.

As a temp you can still do it if you wish but it is not compulsory.

Cheers Bix. I think I'll hang with the UK one in that case. No point in doing tests if we don't get PR and have to leave.

I doubt I'll get a refund! ...
