Does anyone now anything about these Melbourne Suburbs
Hi
I was hoping for some general info on these Melbourne Suburbs from anyone who lives near them.
Epping
Thomastown
Mill Park
Lalor
Bundoora
Any info would be great, stuff like schools , amount of hoon activity, crime , shops and house prices.
Thanks in advance.

Never lived in any of them but I work in Epping. Can't advise on Mill Park or Bundoora but in my opinion Epping, Thomastown and Lalor are bogan towns through and through. Housing is cheaper for a reason. I work in public housing - alot of council/housing association stock out this way. The commute to/from the city is a nightmare unless you invest in an etag for the Tulla - the ring road is always chocka and the high street/spring street route takes forever. Train also takes ages - about an hour from Parliament to Epping. Quite a big shopping centre at Epping - but most upmarket shop is Target which is a worry. Thomastown and Lalor have small outdoor shopping precincts on the main road. Sorry I can't be more positive for you.

We live in the NE suburbs. In our opinion, of the list you have provided, Bundoora would be the nicest suburb all around (but more expensive to buy in as a result)
