Maybe next week some more peeps will start thinking about it soapy. We did the Manly to Spit walk again today (in training for city to surf next sunday :scared: ) and it was just so beautiful. Looking forward to getting down to Reef beach when amanda comes if you are on for it. Ended today at Clontarf and brought back happy memories from one of the meets there.

Looking forward to the 28th, this weather is just brilliant for getting out, although got a teeny bit chilly when the sun went down today. But still brilliant all the same

Hi Soapy,

We will miss you if you go

We will try to make this one - we missed the last meet because we were busy getting MARRIED in Fiji

Hey Sharon

You are not the only one who will miss Soapy when he goes The Soaps are brilliant buddies of ours and I cant imagine not seeing their cheery faces at the meets. Soapy is like a tonic and you can always rely on him to make you feel good...... plus, I imagine without his organizing skills, the Sydney meets might not happen so often...boo hoo, boo hoo.....
..its a long way to drive for a Gold Coast meet

Soapy - I was one of those folk at Cronulla last weekend. You're right it is a good spot, and they have one of the most bizarre Ice cream shops there too where you pick all manner of ice cream flavours and also lollies and things to go in your ice cream. My boy has the always revolting bubblegum flavour with sherbert!!

Anyhoo - why haven't I received one of your usual personal PM invites to this meet. Have you given up on me?

Ps - what about those parking meters. Terrible idea.

Hi Soapy,

Mr GG and I talked last weekend about coming to this, as the weather was good. Now it's crappy and cold again! But I'll keep an eye on things and have your number, so there may yet be two last-minute gatecrashers. If you're heading off, it's only right we drink you out in style!

hi Tony, on your first day eh? brave man. only one other has done that and it was Dutch. heres a map. the 'O' is Stanmore and the 'X' is the park where we are meeting up. if u can print a map of the park (on the first page of this thread) it will make it easier.
hope u make it mate. it takes about 25 mins by car i think
