We've just got back from having our meds done.

We saw Doctor Chris Parker @ the Lindley Group Practice in Huddersfield.

Highly recommended, friendly staff and Dr Price was a really nice, pleasant guy who really put us all at ease, and was excellent with the kids.

hi we saw them a month ago and i was recalled last week because they had lost blood sample!! it took them 3 weeks to realise they had lost it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ours eventually got posted on tuesday bah humbug! when you are waiting its a bummer!!

We saw Dr Lynne Mason at the same practice, found her to be very efficient and really good with the kids, mind you they are paid enough to be efficient aren't they?!!!!!!!

sorry for being so naive but does that mean you cant get your medical done by your own gp? are there nominated surgeries if so does anyone know any near Lancaster? bit ahead of myself but getting a tad obsessive about all this waiting malarky!! i know there is lots to come so i am going to be on here lots between now and whenever!!

We were there last April 2004 to front load our application and now been here 7 months and loving it.
He was very good and great with our daughter.

We had ours done today in North Ormsbey (nr Middlesbrough) and they were great. Can't remember the doc's name but right from the off he put us at ease, explained everything he was doing, etc. Only problem was when we came to pay and they tried to charge us £100 more than we were quoted. They said it was because they had changed their prices recently and had forgotten which price they had quoted

yup - you need to get your medical done by a doc who is registered/whatever it is they are/ with dimia.
you can find the nearest to you or go to whoever quotes you the cheapest - and from what i can gather, if you are up to travelling it is worth ringing round!
