Do I need Return Flights for an Oz Visitors Visa?
Our family are living in NZ, with British Passports. We would like to visit Australia over the Christmas and maybe stay for up to three months.
Do we need to have a return ticket to get into Australia, or can we decide our return date whilst there?
Hope someone can help.

DIMIA say that officially you don't need a return ticket provided you have sufficient funds. However there is a risk the airline might not let you check in without one, so be sure about the airline policy.
Maybe buy a return ticket that's flexible?
http://www.eta.immi.gov.au is the place to get an ETA.
Also - if you are NZ permanent residents, make sure you have the right documentation to get back into New Zealand on your return.
