I have been doing a bit of research on the net but to be honest my head is spinning, theres so much info out there and different peoples opinions and facts about wages and costs of flats etc argh!!! Its confusing! lol :confused: I could spend $80 on the same food that $40 would buy, if I didn't know where to buy. You need 'local' info when you arrive to know the correct answers. |

Current Awards Pay rates for QLD - 1 September 2009
HAIRDRESSERS ' INDUSTRY AWARD - The level of classification and weekly salary payable to employees in the Southern Division, Eastern District will be as follows: Classification Award Rate Per Week $ Level 1 $584.90 Level 2 $609.90 Level 3 $662.00 Level 4 $672.40 Level 5 $682.80 Level 6 $703.70 http://www.wageline.qld.gov.au/award...0030/5.1+Wages The ordinary hours of work shall be an average of 38 hours per week. So $584.90 = $15.39 ph and $703.70 = $18.51 ph |
