- Your stuff get sunpacked, put on the floor, moved around, etc at hte docks ,so pack it really well ,expect it to be thrown around like airline baggage. None of our stuff broke.
Looks like 1900$/£1000 is the norm for costs this-side. Still @ 1500£ + 1000 its 800 £ cheaper than paying the removal company .
And dont pay for fumigation - they wont give a hoot this end. They'll go ahead and do it if they feel its needed.

They wanted about $2000 to deliver to my house,this was the cost for 2 men plus extra's ... ( i think it included their holiday pay aswell !!!
blimey .. ) however i am out in Gympie so it's a few k's away !!! ( i'll be picking it up myself at those prices :scared: ).

i used global logistics mgt (GLM) in brisbane. I cant recommend them tho... read my other thread on shipping for reasons etc.
Get Mini-Movers to move your stuff I bet they'll be cheaper than the shipper. We are in Cleveland so we're 45 minutes out of brissie port.
