Distant from Gold Coast and Port Douglas?
Can anyone tell me how long is it by car to get to Port Douglas from, say Pacific Pines?

it is a very long way!!! At least 2 to 3 days
a lot further we were planning on doing it as my sister lives in port - we ended up driving to mission beach 2 to 3 hours away
then driving from mission to airlie beach - which took basically 8 hours (a whole day) luckily we flew from Airlie (Proserpine airport via Virgin blue - cheap flights
) to Brisbane which was a two hour flight!Fantastic driving over there that 8 hour drive was nothing like an 8 hour drive over here - id of been dead!!
