first post here although I have been reading on and off for a while.
We've been talking about moving to Oz for a while now, but it looks like finally we are about to do something about it.

We are in no particular rush...hubby works abroad at the mo, our lad is at boarding school and I am back to college in September and we are all quite some years younger than 45

We would be looking to move out on a Skilled Visa thing. Hubby could go either as a telecommunications tradesperson or perhaps as an IT bod. I should be able to go as a hairdresser (all things being equal).

So really, this is just to say "hello"!

This place is chocka with great info and insight so hopefully you'll find it useful. I'll be the overexited one, asking daft questions even though we won't even be applying for a visa until late next year probably
