I believe it will because they work to the same DVB standard but it would be nice to have it confirmed. Especially as they only cost £50 in the UK and about £110 in Oz.

Dunno the answer to the will it work question, but I have to say, that despite whether you have digital or not, the tv is exactly the same & is still crappy. It doesnt make the shows any better .
If you have or intend to have foxtel theres no need for a digital box anyway, foxtel provide their own. I have to say the digital lineup from Foxtel is an improvement on basic tv (well it could hardly be worse, now could it? )

Some may work, others will not, or will only work on some channels. UK digital TV is broadcast on UHF only, whereas OZ is VHF and UHF. There are other differences as well so you would need to check the boxes specifications carefully. Specs for OZ digital broadcasting can be found at http://www.dvb.org/index.php?id=232
Hope this doesn't confuse you too much
