Didn't really notice the heat today being at wet n wild on the gold coast
But that is a long walk through the car park to the super heated car afterwards

Having moved here from QLD last year, I can't believe it's the week before Christmas. Lovely and cool here this afternoon, a crisp cool breeze whipping off the ocean and sweeping away all traces of heat and humidity, but a perfect blue sky. Could almost be back in Whitley Bay

Leaving the windows cracked open a little works a treat, though I'd be leery about leaving them open too far, I leave mine open about less than a centimeter and it really makes a difference.

Rather windy here- have had to go out at 7am and re ped my netting back over its frame and tie it down- the wind had pulled the pegs off. Scared to go into the garden with all the gum trees we have, and a bit annoyed that yesterday I'd spent some time picking up all the leaves and bark that had been deposited over the Xmas break and now it looks just as bad.
