Default Customs fee?

Had a email from ron wilson removals in oz to say that our container that is running 2 weks late and will now be docking in mebourne on the 10th dec, could be left on the dock due to how busy commercial containers are this time of the year, and they have priority over household

Any way they want $600 for aqis inspection before its even docked,??
Our removal company in uk,eurousa said that we might get it inspected but maybe not.
But ron wilson sais that every container from uk get emptied in there bonded warehouse with customs present and they might want to check our or they might not,but the charge is $480 plus ron wilsons costs?

Not happy but over a barrel rings a bell?

Sorry to hear, but if there is a way to make money, they'll find it.

We got a $650 fee before our ship docked too (40 foot container) Not much you can do but pay it.
