I've been to this for a couple of years now and will be going again this year. I can recommend it to anyone with kids. And you don't have to be religious to enjoy it

Just to add. It is free but they do collect donations at the end. I usually give my kids some silver coins so that they can give them to the beggars in play. 
Here's the booking info if you want to pre-book tickets.
Bookings
Tickets cannot be booked by either recorded message or email.
Bookings can only be made when speaking to a booking clerk.
No bookings will be taken prior to November 30
(which is 2 weeks before RTB begins for 2009).
Phone line opens between 9am and 5pm - Monday November 30 to Friday December 11
(No bookings taken on Saturday or Sunday).
