cost of medicals & skills assessment?
i'm sure some of you will know the answer to this one. i just want a rough idea on how much it will cost to get our medicals and skills assessments done. medicals will be for two adults and one child and skills assessments will be for a nurse and a painter and decorator.
thanks in advance to anyone who can help. xxx

We had my skills assessed about 18 months ago with the ANCI and it cost around £250. Although we are both nurses we only did mine (main applicant). It took around 4 weeks but not sure how long it is taking these days. Painter and decorator can't help you with. Medicals seem to vary greatly depending on where you go. We paid £155 each for adults and that included xrays. The kids were £70 each. They were both under 5 so did not need a urinalysis which I think saved £5 (Wow!). These were recent (August). It is definately worth shopping around. As long as they are on 'the list' then you can save yourself a few bob. (We're in Scotland by the way.)
Anything else just give us a shout.
Regards
