Hi
No we have not got our contractors yet. Challenger tafe will be running one or mpa skills run a crash course for 3 weeks full time .

The gas course should take three weeks . then a further 2 weeks for servicing or thats what i have been told.

Before you can do the contractors you will have to gain a plumbing license which used to be a trade test but now i believe it is a actual migrants course again at challenger in freeo .
I think it is a good idea to work for someone for a while then you gain terminology and learn what tools are used for what.
Hope it all goes well

Thanks so much for info.............. We actually stayed in Mandurah on our last visit (Port Bouvard) - very expensive - were not in a position to settle until our kids have frinished A levels/GCSEs (July 2009) when we intend settling in Bunbury (Bought a block on Dalyellup 3 years ago)- was our intention to build there now undecided (have read some negative comments on forum)- anyways any plumbing advise for hubbys future reference will be invaluable. Thanks again. Debs.
