Our container arrives this wednesday, we are getting all our stuff packed now.Questions does everything need to be in boxes or wrapped. things like drills that have there on case tools in tool boxes odd shaped things like fans etc. any tips on reducing any agro with customs. Noosa here we come

Hello, Are you getting it packed by a international move company, If you are let them worry about the packing side otherwise insurance not valid (you can pack non breakables like clothes, linen etc.

As far as tools go, my oh cleaned everything with wd40 or jeyes. A handy hint we had some nice pots we wanted to take. Could'nt scrub the dirt stains out but they were clean so we got some garden spray paint and sprayed the inside of the pots. They were opened by customs and cleared without a hitch. We had no extra costs in the end.

Take out the batteries, and don't put them in a separate plastic bag!

Apparently with the moisture they can become a fire hazard, or so I was told...
