Talk about nervous tension, voice still hoarse from shouting, hubbies nails have all but disapeared, he is wishing he was in Oz now blokes he worked with at Volvo factory in Brisbane reckoned we could probably only beat them at Marbles!!!! Thats shown them

Boring are we, not on your life, wonder what they'll report in the papers tomorrow, probably that we cheated or something.

yeah I loved watching john howard - didn't smile once! he was hurting! talk about total humuliation for him - having to hang the medals around the winning English!

Great game - hard fought - and England deservedely took the title - they've beat all comers over the last year or so, and now proved it in the World Cup!

And my teeth aren't gritted at all.... I amaze even myself!

We were in Sydney for NYE last year and that was a party but god I wish we were there now - it would be a party to beat all parties!!

Manley is just going to kick off something fantastic!!

Never mind - we are going out to find some Aussies to buy a concilatory beer for tonight!!

It is such a new feeling, victory in anything worth winning.
Well done England, wish I was in Oz.

Fantastic game, nailbiting finish but well won. Hubby and I made our daughter jump and burst into tears when we screamed with joy at the drop goal!!

Humilation - rubbish. the australians played well and aussies will be feeling proud of their players. England played great, interestign rugby and there'll be no criticism in the australian press regarding their performance.

perhaps now you lot might have something other than 1966 to remember, the aussies on the other hand win something with the regularity of a swiss watch.

im not going to buy a paper for at least a week now because the amount of column inches wasted would drive me insane.
