And it's only just started to get cold Should have been here last winter! I do remember being freezing in our McMansion rental - all that open space. I think you get used to it. However, I was brought up in a house with no central heating or double-glazing so I'm hard

always have felt colder here in winter than I ever did in UK....houses made for hot weather not cold. Hope your heating bills are not too high.....bills for keeping cool in summer can be pretty high as well

Thank goodness for a slow combustion stove (and a DH with an almost paranoid approach to major insulation, who scavenges for wood) Free heat!!!!

I need one of those! Six years since I've had a winter and I'm not coping very well. I've hibernated, and I just want to cry.

The house has no heating, no double glazing, one lounge wall is all glass doors and the floor is tiled. Actually the floor is the worst part - I've got a rug down, I've got sheepskin slippers on (oh the shame ) and my feet are like ice.

I'm sure I'll be glad of it in Summer...

(Do those suits come in cat size?)

They have just started selling really small ones for small kids so possibly. Our two just sleep on mine when I'm not in it. When I'm wearing it they think I'm a tree.
