Very funny.

But isnt it a hard one to prove? The internet is full of pitfalls for advertisers and there is no real way of policing such things, lots of people making money out there.

We had a client recently (I work in advertising and design) who was convinced by a sales rep that their website was the bees knees and has X number of hits per day and click throughs etc.

He parted with his money and had one response from his banner ad; and that was a mistake, they got the wrong number!

Yep, I also picked up on the claim that some businesses will click, click, click on their competitor's website to increase the competitor's advertising spend! :scared: As you say, hard to prove.

It is also another triumph for outsourcing - get a firm in India to cheaply click, click, click for you. I can just see certain individuals who frequent this site justifying this type of outsourcing in purely economic terms.
