i was looking at www.realestate.com.au and had a look at properties in this area, They seem really reasonable priced and was wondering if ayone on here has any views on the area.

What like is it for workwise, Building/construction for Plasterers,

It's a small country town. Though, it's got a new 'estate' type suburb now I think, ha ha!

I think it's a reasonable drive to Mandurah, and there'd be plenty of work there!

(I think once upon a time there was someone who lived near Pinjarra and worked in Rockingham, even further!)

Oh, actually, a friend of mine drives to Pinjarra everyday from Perth(and he lives just south of the river!!) Takes him more than an hour! But that's going into the traffic...

We stayed at Pinjarra for a couple of nights recently, it was a little country town with not a lot there but as Simone says, it's plenty close enough to Mandurah and I can't see work being a problem out that way. If you want to live somewhere that's not in a sprawling suburb then it would probably be a good choice. We considered it ourselves too.
