I think that comment refers to a little known concession in the rules that if you are refused citizenship solely for not meeting the residence requirement, you do not have to pay the A$120 again if you apply within 3 months of being residentially qualified.

So if I read this right JAJ, if I do an online application now, which will be rejected, when I re-apply on 15Oct I pay the $120 as a concession, or am I being simple.

Don't even think about applying before you are residentially qualified as otherwise you risk delays that could stretch into months.

Wife and I done the test this morning, apparently Mrs was the first in Australia to pass....yippeee.... and I was first to get 100%, my claim to fame. Seriously nothing to worry about, just make sure you remember the key dates and a bit about how the government is structured, bit of simple geography, what your rights and the rules of being a citizen are, you'll breeze it.

We got interviewed afterwards by all the news channels and made the evening news, bit of a chuckle, got asked right dodgy question in front of everyone, who will I be supporting in the AustraliaVEngland match.......well....
