Default Citizenship restrictions

Once you have australian citizenship and your australian passport are there any restrictions on your movements in and out of australia? ie could you come back to the uk for a couple of years and then return to australia with no problems???

Once you have paid your $200 for your passport you can do what you like. Stay away as long as you want to and just keep on renewing it every 10 years.

If I understand you correctly, Aussie citizens do not have to apply for a Resident Return Visa when they live abroad for several years?

No because they would have citizenship and a passport. Only immigrants with PR that's expired require a RRV for re entering Aus.
