Hi

It might depend on what your local council says but we were allowed 3 people each.

Maybe if someone else isn't bringing anyone you could have their share!

Nothing said last night about who was with who or how many people you were allowed (thats Brisbane) - there was also no mention of numbers in the official letter, so if its Brisbane you'd be the same. The place was absolutely heaving, anyone who doesn't like crowds would hate it, plus the yelling and scremaing of the many kids for the hour and a half before they start. Good luck

Ours was quite a quiet affair. There were approx 20 people (6 of them were us!) gaining citizenship and perhaps another 30 people which included guests and local dignitaries. We were asked to notify them how many guests would be attending. We had a slap up supper with free-flowing wine - it was a very nice night. They even sent us a photo 2 weeks later in the mail.

This was Nedlands Council, Perth.

Lucky you. No food or drink at the Brisbane one at all, not even a bar open. Bit of a poor show really with that many people and you have to be there an hour and a half before the thing starts. Lived down to all my expectations

when I went it was an average size board room with a table in the centre, there were around 7 other people getting it done and a few of them had 1 friend/family person with them but that was it. there wouldnt have been any room to move if there were more

I had mine at City Hall - which was nice - but I guess now it's falling down (or being held up or whatever) it has to be elsewhere.
