cider in Australia?
Can anybody tell me if you can buy strongbow cider in oz. We have started application for PR but i like my cider on the occasional night out. Can't drink anything else and beginning to get worried if this is unavailable.

kerry you sound like someone after my own heart. I am afraid I am still stuck in a teenage timewarp though and still have it with black current in !!

Haven't seen any.... but haven't looked.
Last time I had some was when I was a student nurse and it had loads of Pernod and Black in it..... mmmmm

Hi Kerry
Had a wee laugh at this one, I remember our chat about this subject, you're not giving up are u.
Lets hope someone finds cider for you, if not maybe an idea for a sideline (Import)!!

Yep, here in WA you can get it too.
Bridgetown in the southwest has it's own cidery(a small one), it's only openend just recently, but makes sense, because that area used to be a major Apple area. And still is a bit I think (Donnybrook).
I've recently discovered cider, and love it! (though in Holland I drank Apfelkorn, is that cider too? Well, similar anyway)

yes i agree, can get strongbow dry in bottles here in VIC but it's not a patch on a pint of the good stuff back in dear old blighty

Don't bother with the strongbow over here, they put pear in it, for some unkown reason. It taste completely different to the stronbow back in the UK.
I tried VB and all the other so called beers and even drank wine for a while due to the lack of good old bo, but I have now hit upon Mercury cider made in Tasmainia it is excellent but make sure you buy the draught.
