The doctor did say they were being overly thorough with me - normally just a report with the xray is enough but for some reason they insisted on all these tests for me. Don't worry if they have had them 2 months then you are probably safe. They had only had mine a couple of weeks when I got my letter.

My hubby had a shadow on his lung but we knew it would be there as it was found 10years ago and the doctor did loads of tests then and it was decided that it was an old whooping cough scar, we got copies of the letters and took them along to our meds, the doc put them in with the forms and we didn't have a problem.
So if anyone has already had a shadow previously and had it checked out get the letters copied and take them with you, may save weeks of waiting.
