channel 4, ri:se now!!
the family that were on that prog last night, `a new life downunder`, are on that crappy programme rise, if anyones interested. i wont get to watch it as im off to work now

Just watched it! They weren't on for very long, but that 19 year old is still with the same girlfriend that caused him go back to England. Also they said they had no plans to go back to Australia to stay, only for "long holidays". I wonder if the mum was interviewed by Australia House? Perhaps they would have established she did not want to go. As some others pointed out, the fact the furtniture went in storage, the cat was left with a neighbour, and the house was being looked after by family shows that they were just testing the waters in the first place and did not really have their heart in it, apart from maybe the father.
