Default Changing agents

We're changing our estate agent as from Monday.......been on the market 12 weeks with our present one and only had 1 viewing

The new agent already has someone lined up to view So things just may be on the up at last!! Then again pigs might fly

To everyone selling their house - its the absolute bloody pits innit????

2 mortgages???

I must admit they 'seem' more professional........very prompt at getting the details done and mailed to us. Plus they have other houses near to us on their books too in similar price ranges so hopefully we may get more viewings.

I have a mate selling her house through them and she told me they actually phone when they say they're going to. So for me that's a huge plus, going on past experience!!!

Avoid paying 2 mortgages at all costs if you can. We had to pay 2 for 5 months as the sale of one house fell through as the new one exchanged. It nearly crippled us financially. Good luck.

We took the risk of buying in Aus before we go out so some tough times ahead. Still it makes life interesting

Thanks Rach!

We've given the existing agent the routine 2 weeks notice both verbally and in writing but they haven't even bothered to acknowledge it!! You would think they would as I know the bloke who owns the company!

I just hope it doesn't cause us major snags later if and when we sell through the new agent....and then the old one comes back and denys all knowledge of our 2 weeks notice!!

Keep a copy of the two weeks notice you've given mate, then if there is any problem, you've got prove that you gave notice

Just had a viewing on my house........

Why do estate agents send round dipsticks who:

a. Haven't sold their own house yet....

and

b. Tell you they are looking at spending a maximum of 20k less than your asking price??

...Stupid little man....bugger off and stop wasting my time!!!

Hi ya Petra

Long time no speak. Sorry to hear youve just had another waste of time, fingers crossed for you that a change for the better is ahead. Been busy training for my marathon, only have three weeks to go. Off on a 14 mile run Saturday, nearly killed me last week:scared: Would love to catch up soon, maybe once the run is out of the way I can get back on the drinkies!!!!!

Speak to you soon, best of luck

Love Lisa & Pete xx
