Currently in Kangaroo Point for the foreseeable, paying $1050.00 a week, fully furnished, serviced, river views, love it..............but another couple of weeks, we need to get something more realistic matching our budgets etc...
We have been to look at a few places near by......
What we need, two bedrooms, both with air con. Fully Furnished, clean, quiet, respectable, as close as possible to CBD, an hours walk in at most, if possible......
Any ideas, of any areas which match our needs and wishes, North, South, East or West of Brisbane CBD.
Love New Farm, love Teneriffe, but at $650 plus a week, a tad big on our budget. Really want something around $450 to $550. I know what we want and what we get, well, we have to settle for less......Just asking any idea's?
Thanks

Say Hello to the KP Hotel for me!
Do you know where you'll be working? Also fully furnished is really limiting your choices, you'd probably save by picking up the furniture you need cheap and renting unfurn, provided you can sign up for at least 6 months.

Just checked Bulimba rentals. Pulling myself off the floor.

I agree that fully furnished "really" limits your choices. You would have hundreds to pick from without that requirement.
If you want walkability I would stick to the inner west/north to avoid the river crossing. The Spring Hill/Petrie Tce/Paddington/Milton/Red Hill/Auchflower areas are often very walkable. Somewhere off Caxton/Given/Latrobe Tce would be ideal or down near Nash St at Rosalie.
Here's a furnished one almost in the CBD for $480:
