Default Case officer on holiday

To all you out there who read my previous post saying that my case officer was on holiday for two months (Mr. Kym Palmer), you'll be pleased to know that I found out that in his absence, other case officers have been assigned his applicants.

Nice to know that he doesn't just bugger off and leaves my application to gather dust while he's away. I imagine the same would apply to all applications.

Good luck all!

Long holidays aren't unusual down here, especially in public sector as it's very easy to get extended unpaid leave. Where I work out of about 20 full time employees about 1 would be on extended leave (off for 1 month or longer) at any one time.

Without contractors place would collapse as basic working week is only 36 hours no paid overtime, so work 3 hours overtime take 3 hours off during the day. One guy here works Mon to Thurs 9 hours per day and takes Friday off every week.

Looking for cussy no work for gov, looking for real job forget gov.

Disillusioned gov contractor
