card 4 working with kids QLD
Hello, 
I have heard that to work with children in QLD you need a certain card to ensure you are not a danger to them. Possibly the equivalent to CRB I'd imagine. Does anybody have any more info on this? Can it be applied for from the UK? & if so how? Any ideas????????????

Under the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act (2000), people who work with children under 18 years of age in particular businesses or categories of paid or voluntary employment, must undergo screening - the Working with Children Check.
A person whose application to work with children and young people is approved is issued with a positive notice letter and a blue card.

Though it's just like working with children on site over here

Thanks I'll go & look at those sites now. Do you know if you can apply for one of those cards from UK? Or do you need to have an Ozzy police check first?
