Can't take this anymore, and we haven't even sent our application off yet!
Hi, we are new to the forum. Been at this visa mullarkey for a year now! 
Got hubbys trades passed in May 2004, been gathering paperwork every since then. We are going out on a Designated Area Sponsor Visa (hubbys Cousin is sponsoring us), didn't realise how much Immigration needed to know! We are coming to the end of our tether now though. Everything has to be worded correctly or it gets sent back. Thought we had got everything sorted last week then Agent drops another bombshell, more info from hubbys accountant needed (coz he's a self-employed Joiner). Thankfully when it does EVENTUALLY go in it should only take 6 months, is this correct?
Anybody else going on a Designated Area Visa?
If and WHEN we do get there hoping to go to Coomera QLD, anyone know it?

We are Skilled Sponsored Designated Area.
I'm self-employed but have always worked through agents etc. at firms so just got references from previous bosses.
Our application went in a year last Sept. , we got our visas the following new year i.e. about 3-4 months later.
We're not going until my wife finishes her nurse training so did a quick validation trip last Feb to my sponsor's house in Melbourne for 2 weeks and plan to go for good in 2 or 3 years time.
you've done the hard bit, keep going!
