Finally got visa's, only took 3 years!!
OH Been offered a job in Canberra, we were gonna go to perth as that is where we visited, but a job is a job!
What I really want to know, does anyone know of any reasonably priced accommodation for OH to stay at, as he is coming over for a couple of months by himself!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Short term share house/flat may be the best idea, have a look on allhomes.com.au and select 'share'.
