If you shop around you can usually find someone who is doing a special deal on any particular item, but Appliancesonline is always worth checking out.

I find it strange that people still buy them (and I don't get that 'better picture' bullshit - it really is only in the eye of the beholder). Their energy consumption is way higher that LED, they give off much more heat, have to be kept upright etc.

They had their day and that day is now long gone.

JB Hifi's website lists 78 TVs, of which 10 are plasma and 64 are LED LCD (the remaining 4 are backlit LCD). Equivalent numbers on the Good Guys site are 14 and 101.

Says it all, really.
