Sorry if this is old ground... but can anybody advise if land estate price lists are generally negotiable. Would I get away offering below brochure price. Anybody have any experience they'd like to share. Thanks. Ed

Hello we bought some land in Mindarie in January this year which was priced at $399,000. We offered £360,000 and got the land for $370,000, so yes make an offer and now is a good time as many people cannot sell due to high interest rates.
Good luck.

It depends. If you are planning on buying privately or on a resale block you can generally offer lower. If you are buying from a developer in a new development than the price is usually pretty much locked in. You can, however, negotiate extras like fencing, landscaping and site works. If it's a development that is selling quickly you will have a harder time negotiating anything since they will have other buyers willing to offer the advertised price with no extras.

We just put an offer in on a plot in Butler and got front and read landscaping, fencing and site works thrown in. Well, landscaping & fencing are included for everyone, but the site works will save us about $5k.
